Grass Land has for the most part been my favorite of the stages I’ve made so far. And I felt it was deserving of an upgrade, to make use of new experience I’ve picked up over time. Nothing fancy, just[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…

First, a recap: this is my Lanayru Desert stage, from Zelda: Skyward Sword, for Brawl/Project M. More pictures and stuff are at the old post for the first version. The download below includes a new version of the stage. Changes[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Smash Bros. glossary defines Metroid as “a game series in which there’s lava and fire and acid that burns you and more lava and magma and molten rocks.” But did you know there are locales in the games that are[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
You might remember that I made an Osohe Castle stage years ago, and I kinda hope you don’t! It was made out of models already present in Brawl, reskinned to look like other things. And that’s actually kind of creative,[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Ness’s seventh sanctuary in EarthBound, now as a stage. The three higher platforms are close to the same size as on Project M’s Battlefield, a tiny bit bigger and further spread-apart. The basic shape is something I made in Smash[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I’m working on a stage it’s the file select screen from EarthBound not really. Each light in the background is one pixel in a tiny texture (which they currently share, but won’t in the final version). So I can do[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Goldenrod and the stations look much better. First impressions are important. Hur. More tall grass and trees. More Pokémon cameos than before! They’re all 2-dimensional, though. I did originally intend to do 3D ones, but this way allows for more[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I feel like it needs it. I did work hard on the original, but not hard enough. And I’ve learned a lot of things since then that this one deserves, for the concept and for the work that has already[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
When I was a kid I didn’t recognize most of the characters in Super Smash Bros. or Melee. Because, like most kids whose parents don’t play video games, I usually had to wait for birthdays and Christmases to get new[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
It’s a Smash stage. Based on Minish Cap. It’s full of candles and crap You can fight on it. That’s the point The background is Telma’s Bar from Twilight Princess. I want to add background characters down there too, but[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I’ve got an idea for moving platforms. So that’ll take a bit, and I have a little more model work to do and some animating. But it totally works and it’s totally badass.
These are pictures of the test room I made for the timeshift stone bubbles. Excuse the placeholder models and textures, I just dismantled some of Bowser’s Castle for this. The bubble hides the blue brick and orange platform, revealing the[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Here come some HD screenshots of it from Dolphin. Video and download below. Stage select stuff: I didn’t really test it in vanilla Brawl. Red should stand on the ground but might, like, walk through trees and stuff. Woops. Download[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…

Or at least, done enough for now. Changes since the last post: changed the water texture again, added a reflection of the sky to the water, characters now have shadows, the sky moves, I fixed an anomaly in an animation[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Took my own advice. Here are some HD screenshots from Dolphin! Now with power lines. I think they look good but I’m not an expert of telephone pole anatomy Village Bridge, real imaginative name there, Unova Dayumn at this resolution[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Added a Panpour and a Scrafty to the background of the stage. I didn’t model them, they’re from poképark 2. But I did bump up the texture detail and I made their animations from scratch. I won’t deny I’m proud[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I’ve scaled it down some and adjusted things like the width of the road and sizes of the trees accordingly in an attempt to make it better as a stage with pits, but it’s still big. Like, really big. Wider[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Probably gonna end up as a flat walk-off-and-die stage but there’ll be platforms, too
If you missed it, I’m talking about this Brawl stage, based on both generic and specific Mario themes It replaces Battlefield by default, like all my others do, but includes a custom module for sticking it in over Mushroomy Kingdom[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
The ice version is done! I’ll put up some downloads later. Need to make more custom songs.
