This is a video game comic by me, Sam Laurel, most often about Nintendo but also including anything else I like to play. It’s named for the little graphic you get with a critical hit in the EarthBound series.

Here I would describe what the comic is like, but the most valuable thing in a joke is the element of surprise.

The comic is over, because I make Ludicrous Power instead now. But the blog still updates with art because I am a machine for that, and usually fan art because I am passionate about the video games. I wouldn’t discourage browsing through the non-comic updates and poking around the category archive for other stuff you may never have known existed otherwise!
