I got EarthBound the day it hit Virtual Console, partly because I want to support it and contribute to the sales so Nintendo might bring EB2 to everyone not willing to get a ROM and play the fan translation, and partly because drawing on Miiverse for the approval of strangers is my jam. Whether you’ve played it before or not, I do recommend it, partly to support and partly because yes, it’s a goofy little RPG that I still like very much. Unless you haven’t got a Wii U, of course, which is an entirely possible situation and is why I’m bothering to post the following instead of just saying “hey follow me on Miiverse for all of the funny”

My capture device is horrible.
I started as a Sorcerer in Dark Souls but now I’m wearing this bulky heavy armor and pyromancy has proven more useful than the Soul Arrows. I’m having an identity crisis
I had this dream that I was playing a NSMB-type Mario game and this tougher level ended with a completely relentless fish with brown spikes that killed me. Then on the overworld, it said “YOU GOT KNIVES” and Mario got a fish suit. That enabled him to throw knives. Knives that pierced the fish’s spiky armor and killed it so I could keep going.
