I went with the Deku Butler’s son, Darmani and Mikau over Deku Link, Goron Link and Zora Link partly because the prospect of an alternate version of the story with them surviving, forming a group and taking care of things themselves instead of Link doing it fascinates me. The way the game actually does things is probably the best, most conductive way to do it because it is a single-player game, but I still like to think that the Zelda universe would have room for heroes who aren’t green-clad Hylian mutes anywhere the games aren’t concerned. So I’m saying I’d like to see that, but also, I wouldn’t? Majora’s Mask is good game whatever
