I beat Pokémon Stadium 2 and drew the Pokémon I used (excluding Challenge Cup rentals)
It feels kind of important. Stadium 2 was the absolute terminus of a lot, being the last game of Generation 2. Stat Experience got replaced by EVs after that, so gen 2 plays REALLY differently from any and all following it. You can max out every stat without sacrificing any points in one for another, which makes the type-bound physical/special split more bearable. Many things can run mixed movesets. I’m not saying it’s better, I’m just saying it feels like an entirely different game, and one that has ended. The one we have now began with Ruby and Sapphire and has not ended. Beating Stadium 2 feels like closure to gen 1 and 2 for me.

Poké Cup: Politoed, Quagsire, Snorlax, Gengar, Skarmory, shiny Jumpluff (felt like I had to use it)
Little Cup: Chansey, Mankey, Grimer, Gastly, Scyther, shiny Chinchou (bred from the Gyarados)
