#152 – Rude Awakening
I gave you fair warning, didn’t I!? DIDN’T I!?
Tune in next week for even more comics about games that only came out in Japan but do have fan translations. NAH JUST KIDDING get ready for more Pokémon
Trivia: In panel 10 Frog Sable was shivering, as noted by some shaky blue lines. Until I remembered, frogs can’t shiver. Duh. That’s exactly what he’s talking about in that panel. I am a moron
wicky
What game is this?
For The Frog The Bell Tolls, Game Boy, 1992. Japan only. Fan translation patch found here
And Richard cameo’d in Link’s Awakening. Oh and there’s a rumor floating around that the Prince of Sable is in the plans for the next Smash Bros. Each game has had at least one pretty obscure weirdo make the roster (Ness, Ice Climbers, Pit), so it’s not wholly unrealistic…
Man, you implied we’d get a comic this week!
Well, he did give us a Quagsire…
It’s late it’s late it’s late but not too late. Now it’s here.
Because of reasons. Sorry! I definitely didn’t want to leave it hanging on a comic for such an obscure game, either. No way. That’s unacceptable.
For some reason, I thought this was Alex Kidd.
