Originally, Pit's role here was going to go to Ivysaur. Then I realized that, aside from probably having an affinity for plants, there's nothing about Ivysaur that would make him a superior gardener to a Fighting Polygon. What can he do... Vine Whip them and slash them up? shoot holes through them with Bullet Seed? Roast them with Solarbeam?
