Whenever I use a character in a comic for the first time, I love it because I get to decide how I want to portray him or her. How strong-willed will they be? How in-tune with their surroundings? How polite or rude? For Gray Fox, I wanted to convey a sort of unsettling, creepy friendliness. Nothing like, "Would you like to wear my underwear," more like, giving 100% undivided attention and not moving a muscle while you're talking to him, or conveniently having the strangest of objects to share when it's convenient to have... or staring at you with a dim flashlight for an eye. You know how there's usually a struggle between the first game and the third game for which is the best in a trilogy? Phoenix Wright... Mario & Luigi... |
