Custom Super Smash Bros. Brawl Stages
The links to download them are in the stages' names. Some of the images look weird: I had to merge two snapshots in such a case, so that one could get a good idea of what the whole thing looks like. And, the dates of creation will be completely whacked up. This is a side-effect of changing the files' names. Other than that, yeah. Just save the files to the stages folder on your SD card (SD Card -> private -> wii -> app -> RSBE -> st), and you can play on these stages with no problems. You could even edit them if you really wanted, too, since they weren't sent over Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection...
- Based on: Winters, from EarthBound. Jeff lives at a boarding school there, and begins his journey to Threed when Paula telepathically calls him for help from the zombie chick's trap.
- Features: A large icy platform, something there looks like stonehenge (a landmark in Winters that becomes important later in the game), and two plain platforms to make the stage more interesting.
- Music: Snowman. The song is from all three Mother games, and plays inside Jeff's boarding school.
- Notes: A pretty straightforward match can be held here. You'll trip often if you fight on the ice, unless you use the Ice Climbers. Remember that you can't grab a frozen ledge, so tether recovery-dependent characters can have some tough times here.
- Based on: A pinball machine, obviously.
- Features: Springs, walls, springs, a platform, springs, one triangluar block, springs. The springs are meant to emulate the launcher, paddles and other obstacles in a pinball machine.
- Music: Waluigi Pinball. Waluigi does not appear here (and if you get him from an Assist Trophy he will probably die), but the track is still awesome.
- Notes: This is one whacked stage. Your fights here will be extremely aerial, and items will be hard to grab. Some characters' Final Smashes will result in death, as well--the Landmasters are very limited, and Mr. Game & Watch will slowly fall to his death as an octopus. You'll probably delete this one, but why not give it a try?
- Based on: Fourside as seen in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It really doesn't LOOK like it at all...
- Features: Similar to those in the stage as it appeared before. The ice blocks are meant to emulate the slippery UFO, but maybe I should get rid of them--they prevent KOs occasionally.
- Music: Mother 2 (Melee), otherwise known as Pollyanna. I prefer it over Mother (Melee), otherwise known as Bein' Friends.
- Notes: You can't grab the sloped top of the far left building as in Melee--I couldn't get the curve the stage originally featured so I did the next best thing. You practically couldn't grab ledges in Melee anyway, amirite, amirite?
- Based on: SPARTA!
- Features: A big well. It's a vertical tunnel to your death. Kick people into it.
- Music: Step: Subspace Ver.2
- Notes: THIS IS SPARTA! I know, that meme is so dead. Anyway, wall-jumpers may escape their death by... wall-jumping. Each side of the well is eight small blocks wide.
- Based on: Russia.
- Features: Nothing.
- Music: Tetris: Type A. Tetris was invented by a Russian, you know.
- Notes: It's just like in real life!
- Based on: Hazakura Temple, the setting of Bridge to the Turnabout, the fifth case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations. Dusky Bridge, a rickety old bridge, lies between the larger temple, to the west, and the Inner Temple, to the east. It's up in the mountains, and when you visit it in the game it is very snowy.
- Features: The temples are represented by rocky, L-shaped structures. Dusky Bridge is made up of falling blocks, and if you're not careful you'll fall into the canyon where Eagle River would be. Being a cold place, there is ice here, too.
- Music: Tetris: Type A. I guess it sounds closest to a sequence of court themes, starting quietly, but getting more intense as you object.
- Notes: Matches here shouldn't be too chaotic. If you get caught under one of the blocks of the bridge, you're done for, so even wall-jumpers can't escape the canyon too easily.
- Based on: Nothing, really.
- Features: A big bowl-shaped platform with three normal ones above it.
- Music: Obstacle Course. It's a cool song.
- Notes: It's kind of like Green Hell Zone, I supposed. BUT, you can have a great time with Rolling Crates here: in Green Hell Zone you're bound to hit one of those spinning lollipop things that'll ruin your fun. Don't forget to leave Bumpers turned on, too.
- Based on: Saturn Valley, from EarthBound. The pentagons all over the place are supposed to be the houses, which were originally cylindrical with conical tops... The pointless ladder at the top is a direct reference to the game. Some Mad Ducks could be seen in a supposedly inaccessible area that could only be reached using a walk-through-walls cheat or a slip-through-stuff glitch.
- Features: Indescribable. Check the image above, ignore the complications with it, and be the judge.
- Music: Mother 2 (Melee)
- Notes: It's kind of a mess... I probably overthought it, if it was even a good idea to begin with.
Don't you people have Back buttons!?
